Warranty

Your TAYLEX CLEARWATER™ system has been carefully inspected and tested prior to dispatch and the original mechanical and electrical components contained in the system when dispatched are guaranteed against defect in workmanship and materials for a total period of 12 months*, while the original concrete components of the system when dispatched are guaranteed for a total period of 15 years. Both periods commence from the date of commissioning by an authorized TAYLEX™ distributor, or 90 days from the date of dispatch, whichever is the earlier, unless a written extension is made at the time of purchase by TAYLEX™ or our Authorized Distributor. During this warranty period any such defect will be rectified free of charge, either by repair or replacement at TAYLEX™'s option.

*A 12 months extension to the mechanical and electrical component warranty will apply if you enter into a service contract with TAYLEX™or our Authorized Distributor who was the original service provider. Please consult TAYLEX™or our Authorized Distributor to discuss any terms or conditions which may apply to this extension. This warranty does not cover any defect caused by misuse, neglect, failure to keep the unit clean and functional, accident, use of incorrect power supply, or repair or attempts to repair by personnel not authorized by TAYLEX™.

The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the product which you have under the Trade Practices Act and other Legislation.

WARNING
 WARRANTY EXCLUSION

If the TAYLEX CLEARWATER™ installed at your property has been fitted with an outlet filter or drippers that are adjustable or require ongoing maintenance, then the following conditions will apply:
TAYLEXTM and its Authorized Distributors will NOT be responsible for any consequential damage that may occur to the TAYLEXTM system as a result of the outlet filter or drippers becoming restricted or blocked. This includes damage to the effluent pump and any consequential damage caused by flooding of the unit. 

THIS EXCLUSION APPLIES DURING THE INITIAL 12 MONTHS WARRANTY PERIOD AND ANY EXTENSION THAT MAY BE GIVEN.
TAYLEX™

will clean the filter as part of the quarterly service function provided on the system.
However, it is the responsibility of the property occupier to clean the filter and the drippers as and when required, to ensure that blockage of the outlet line and the consequential flooding of the unit and failure of the effluent pump, does not occur.
